New Update Video Syrian Kid Gets His Head Chopped
A six-year-old Syrian boy who was beaten in a video that went viral after he was abducted in southern Syria was released by his captors on Saturday after his family paid a ransom of 400 million Syrian lira ($110,000). .
The Mystifying Rise Of Child Suicide
Six-year-old Fawaz Mohammed Al-Qutaifan was kidnapped on his way to school. In November he was taken away by four people on motorbikes. In a video released last week, Fawaz could be seen lying on a bed in just his underwear while someone punched him several times. He can be heard pleading: “Please stop hitting me.”
At the time, his family said they had collected the ransom money but were awaiting instructions on how to return their son to them. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 400 million Syrian pounds (about $160,000).
After receiving the funds during the exchange on Saturday, the kidnappers left the child at a pharmacy in the village of Nawa, in rural Daraa.
The news that Fawaz had been reunited with his family prompted people around the world to express their relief on Twitter, adding the hashtag “Red Fawaz Al Qutaifan”.

He told how he was beaten several times by different people and filmed to threaten his family.
“Then they brought a gun and a gun and put the gun on my head and the gun on my lap and I started saying to my family, ‘Do you want to take me or kill me?’

A Syrian rebel group once backed by the US military reportedly beheaded a young child in Aleppo, with images and videos widely circulated on Tuesday. Disturbing footage circulating on social media shows a fighter beheading a small boy with a knife.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said the men were fighters from the Noor al-Din al-Zinki Movement, a rebel group that has received military support from Turkey, including US TOW missiles and funding. The group no longer receives such support.
The young child, identified by some on social media as “Abdullah Issa”, can be seen in custody in two separate videos.
The first frame, captured as an 18-second selfie, shows the boy in the back of a truck being taunted by several men who say he is from a Palestinian faction fighting in Aleppo in support of President Bashar al-Assad.

“This is a prisoner of the Quds Brigade. They don’t have any more men, so they sent us children today,” says one of the men. “These are your dogs, Bashar, the children of the Quds Brigade,” said another. One fighter shouts “we will not leave anyone behind in Khandarat”.
A second gruesome footage shows a bearded fighter pushing a child onto his stomach in the back of a pick-up truck while another shouts “Allahu Akbar”. The warrior grabbed the boy by the hair and struck his neck fiercely with a knife. After separating it from the body, the warrior lifts it up to the joyous crowd.
Rami Abdel Rahman, head of SOHR, told AFP, “the boy is not more than 13 years old, he was captured on Tuesday in the Khandarat district, but the incident happened in a rebel-held area in the city of Aleppo , more precisely in the Al – Mashhad district. .” However, he could not confirm whether the boy was a Palestinian or a child soldier.

According to the BBC, Khandarat is the site of the unofficial Palestinian refugee camp Ein al-Tal, which housed around 7,000 people before they were evicted by armed groups in 2013.
The chilling images coincided with some of the worst atrocities by the Islamic State group, which has killed hundreds of prisoners in Syria and neighboring Iraq over the past three years.
“If we can prove that this actually happened and that this group was involved … it will allow us to forget about any assistance or any further involvement with this group,” he told reporters.

The rebel group Nur al-Din al-Zinki also condemned the incident. It said in a statement that “human rights violations reported on social media sites” do not reflect its policies or practices.
He announced that he had created a commission to investigate what had happened. “All persons who have committed offenses have been detained in terms of the legislation and handed over to the investigation committee,” the message reads.
The group received financial and military support from the US as part of a group of “moderate” opposition factions working with a logistics center run in part by the CIA. They lost this verified status in September 2015.
Earlier this month, an Amnesty International report accused the group of kidnappings, torture and extrajudicial killings in and around Aleppo.

The conflict in Syria began in 2011 with the suppression of anti-government demonstrations and has escalated into a multi-front war that has killed more than 280,000 people and forced millions from their homes.
In recent weeks, pro-government forces have tried to capture Khandarat. As part of the offensive, they cut off the last remaining road from the rebel-held eastern half of Aleppo, trapping some 300,000 people who live there. Friday marks the first anniversary of the death of Alan Kurdi, the 2-year-old Syrian refugee whose body was found on a beach in Turkey. The boy’s photos shocked the world and gave the refugee crisis a human face.
Over the past months, thousands of refugees have died making the same dangerous journey that ended in the deaths of Alan, his brother and mother. Hundreds of other children have died in the ongoing fighting in Syria.

A sense of weary humility about the plight of Syrians – and the hundreds of thousands of other refugees and migrants taking desperate risks to reach safety in Europe – was momentarily shattered by the gruesome images of one of the young victims, a little boy who ‘s body was discovered by a Turkish policeman face in the sand
